Words Cannot Express Hummus I Love You

I think I can eat hummus with pretty much anything… I have developed a very serious addiction to it! But, you can make hummus in so many different ways, so you can’t really get sick of it (at least I can’t anyways). That’s the beauty of hummus! Currently, my favourite kind of hummus is beetroot. Here’s a quick and easy recipe for it 🙂

Beetroot Hummus Recipe


  • 1 Cup Sprouted Chickpeas
  • 1 Large Roasted Beet
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Tahini
  • 1/4 Cup Distilled Water
  • 1 Tsp Black Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • Pink Salt and Black Pepper to taste


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Rinse and chop the beet into small cubes
  • Toss in olive oil and roast for 15 minutes (or until soft)
  • Once soft, blend in a food processor
  • Add in chickpeas, olive oil, lemon juice, and water and blend
  • Blend in tahini,paprika, and salt and pepper
  • Blend in sesame seeds
  • Top with some greens
  • Enjoy
